St. Thomas Catholic Church
English-Speaking Catholic Community
Our English-Speaking Catholic Community is located in Mala Strana, right in the heart of Prague, just below the Prague Castle steps. For centuries, Catholics have gathered here, under the pastoral care of the Augustinian brothers, to worship and build strong bonds in the Czech and international community.

Our Catholic Community
Order your soul; reduce your wants; live in charity; associate in Christian community; obey the laws; trust in Providence.
— St. Augustine of Hippo —
Sacraments

St Augustine described a sacrament as being 'an outward and visible sign of an inward and invisible grace.’ Learning what that truly means and living a sacramental life is one of the joys of the Catholic Faith.
Whether you are seeking preparation for and/or reception of a Sacrament, you will find that here.
Charity Work

"Christ is needy when a poor person is in need." No more beautiful words could express the meaning of true charity as St. Augustine's. As a community, we support a yearly project in an Augustinian Mission in different African countries as well as a local mission to weekly feed and clothe the poor and homeless run by our 3rd Order Lay Augustinians.
